Marilyn Harding is a writer, literary author, and co-founder of Aristoleo — the global certification authority for High Phenolic extra virgin olive oil, operating since 2012. When the EU Health Claim Regulation 432/2012 identified olive oil rich in biophenols as a category worthy of a health label, Aristoleo was there at the origin — not as a follower of the science, but as one of its architects. As the sole private entity in the EU-funded ARISTOIL Interreg MED programme, Aristoleo helped define the standards the world now uses to measure exceptional oil.
From that foundation, Marilyn and her partner Athan Gadanidis created Aristoleo+ — a consumer longevity protocol built on qNMR-certified, High Phenolic EVOO, delivered through the MicroDosing method: small, precise, bioavailable doses that work with the body’s own rhythms. Not a wellness trend. A protocol the science demanded.
Marilyn lives this. On Aegina Island, Greece — where the light is ancient and the olives older still — she is her own most rigorous subject. The Mediterranean isn’t a metaphor for her. It is the laboratory, the kitchen, the evening walk, the life.
She writes literary fiction, essays, and long-form narrative at the intersection of longevity, vitality, and intentional living. Her book Exhilarated Life: Discovering Inner Happiness established her voice as a wayshower — someone who doesn’t point to the path from a distance, but walks it first, then turns around. Her work has appeared in the Huffington Post and Thrive Global. On LinkedIn, she is building The Deliberate Life — a newsletter on longevity, vitality, and intentional living, arriving soon.
She is not a scientist. She is something rarer: a person who understood the science early, staked a decade on it, and found the language to make it matter to the rest of us.
None of this arrived in a straight line. Thirty years of examined life — in corporate boardrooms, art galleries, grief, integrative medicine, fiction manuscripts, and an olive grove on a Greek island — are the actual credential. Marilyn founded Artemis Alliance Inc. in 2005, wrote about art and consciousness long before wellness was a category, and built a platform for alternative therapists when the mainstream hadn’t yet found the word integrative. She is a Reiki Master whose reattunement ceremony was held at the Temple of Artemis on Aegina — the same name she had given her company years before she knew she would ever live in Greece. The through-line was never a subject. It was always a quality of attention — the refusal to live on the surface of things.
Two pieces of writing tell that story more honestly than any biography could.
→ My Manifesto — The examined life as philosophy. Where it all begins.
→ To the Man I Loved and Lost — The story of grief, love, and a science that arrived exactly when it was needed. This is where Arist
